Folding Fan Case Kit

A leather case for a traditional and convenient eco-friendly fan.

Cut the leather to a size of (approx.) 10 cm wide by (approx.) 24 cm long.
Adjust the size of the leather to match the size of the fan.
Here we use the LeatherCraftTools.com kit "Fan Holder Kit".

Finish the flesh side and edge near the inserting mouth of the leather.

Roughen the surface to be glued with an abrasive stick or the like.

Apply bond to one side of the surface to be glued, and carefully bend the leather to fit together.

Use a Leather Craft Roller, Hand Crimper Wide, etc. to press down firmly.

Finish the edge of the leather glued together.

Sew the part that has been glued together.
This sample was sewn using VINYMO <MBT> Polyester Machine Thread (thickness: # 5, color: 14).
